an introduction to water fed poles

Aquafactors is one of the original suppliers of water fed poles and related water treatment. We set up in 1998 as a supplier of Tucker Pole® equipment and remain today their authorised UK distributor for their single and unique dual hose aluminium pole systems.

Much has moved on in recent years and with the UK leading the world in high level cleaning systems Aquafactors has diversified considerably. It now provides its customers with a its own range of both aluminium and carbon fibre poles, as well as a variety of tailor made water treatment packages to suit the needs of the local window cleaner as well as national and blue chip organisations.

The diversity of water fed pole cleaning has enabled operatives to offer services to maintain all kinds of surfaces from glass to cladding, from masonry to motor way signs. Aquafactors champions aluminium poles even though carbon fibre has grown in popularity. We consider aluminium to be equally good up to 11 metres (35’) and far more cost effective. However, over that height carbon fibre poles remain more rigid, are lighter and easier to handle. We supply both alternatives with the advantage of having the same head assembly.

Aquafactors has a roots in water treatment and it is in this area that we have more experience than most. The company has been involved in reverse osmosis systems since they first came into this country in 1988 and therefore we have considerable experience in membrane technology.

We have always believed in keeping things simple and this has paid off over the years by making pure water production straightforward, keeping service costs low and ongoing repair as minimal as possible.
