A wide choice in water fed poles

To start a business with one of the best known names in water fed poles - Tucker®, has enabled Aquafactors to experience, over many years, more pole types than many of its competitors. The most popular poles have been aluminium and composite glass fibre with lightweight carbon fibre poles coming to the fore in recent years.

Aquafactors has both aluminium and carbon fibre poles available. Carbon fibre poles are expensive but excel in very high level cleaning conditions. They are much stiffer and lighter than aluminium which assists in handling and manoeuvrability. At lower levels (below 11 meters - 35’) there is very little difference in the way both pole types perform. There is however a big difference in price which is why aluminium is a popular choice with Aquafactors customers.

Recently a new brush head design was introduced common to both the Ascent aluminium pole and Aspire carbon fibre pole. This has a quick connect/release goose neck. No tools are required to change the brush head. The goose neck pushes into a metal pin inside the pole and brush head. A locking nut at each end secures the goose neck into position.

All poles are supplied with a fixed angled head assembly. A 180° rotational head is available as an accessory. This has proved a worthy addition enabling the brush to be tilted at an angle to address difficult to clean surfaces, ledges and sills. There is a wide range of brushes varying in size and texture. Quality has always been a priority. Competitive brushes are known to flatten with use. Our brushes remain stiff and have gained the reputation of being the best in the business. The most popular brush is a 12” DT (double trim). We also do full trim, foam centred and wall brushes at 12” and 18”.
