Aquafactors Direct (formerly Tucker Pole UK) is the leading European and worldwide distributor for the popular range of classic American Tucker Pole window and exterior washing systems. Established over 50 years ago, the Tucker Pole brand is a respected name worldwide in the water fed pole market, and their extensive range of single and unique dual hose systems are available everywhere through Aquafactors Direct.

Tucker Pole is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA where they manufacture a range of classic gold anodised poles from lightweight aluminium which feature the robust original worm gear clamp which is operated using the easy to use Tucker tool. The Classic Tucker Poles with worm gear clamps are available from 5’ to 45’ as single man systems, and as 2 and 3 man systems up to a staggering 83’!

There are two types of classic Tucker Poles available; Single Hose and Dual Hose.

The Dual Hose Tucker Pole systems are designed to be used with the purpose built robust detergent dispenser which offers as good a clean as a warm water system, without the corrosive effects.  The Dual Hose Pole is also designed to be used with the chemical dosing system which enables more specialised high level cleaning of cladding, glass and awnings.  Both these dispensers automatically mix the correct dose amount of detergent or chemical solution necessary for the application. While the soap or chemical solution is dispensed through the brush, the overhead spray provides a perfect rinse-off of the surface as you clean. The detergent tablets are formulated with wetting agents, water softeners and protein removers, and no strong alkalines are used. Run-off will not stain or mark windows, paint, brick, stone, masonry, or metal and they are environmentally friendly too! The compressed, concentrated tablets are long lasting, and take approximately 4 hours to dissolve completely, meaning that they economically cover large surface areas.  There is a full range of chemicals available which are specifically formulated for the water fed pole and our industry.

Sought after world wide, Tucker Pole has mastered the art of producing the best range and quality of brushes in the industry. There are two main types of glass brushes

*  Double Trim which is specifically designed for smooth or textured glass and will allow the centre of the brush to wash the main glass plane while the edges will splay out to reach the corners of the frame.

*  The Full Trim window brushes are designed for more of a scrubbing action where bird droppings or tree wax and berry juice might accumulate, and are excellent when cleaning awnings, aluminium or plastic cladding, marine crafts or aircrafts.

And then there is a speciality range of built for purpose brushes:-

*  There is a very soft Plexi-glass brush for painted glass or soft plastic surfaces such as Perspex.  Many actually prefer to use this brush all the time, but that is a personal preference.

*  A tougher Full Trim brush has been developed which is suitable for wall or concrete cleaning. 

*  There are types of Foam Centred brushes which are designed specifically for washing large windows with no horizontal dividers, or for internal cleaning where water volume has to be controlled.
